We at Festival Playhouse believe there is no better time than now to express the ideas, challenges, and celebrations of our community. Our productions this year focus upon the stories and ideas that celebrate our uniqueness and reflect upon that which brings us together.
Festival Playhouse produced Silent Sky by Lauren Gunderson as the second show in our 56th Season- HERstories: Forgotten Female Figures
On January 30th some of the production staff for our Winter production of Silent Sky visited Western Michigan University’s audiology department to see period accurate hearing aids.
The main character in Silent Sky, Henrietta Leavitt, suffers from hearing loss and wears a hearing aid for most of the show.
